Baking a Pizza using a Crepe Pro and a Pizza Stone

If you’re looking for a hard-working, multitasking kitchen appliance, then you really need to take a closer look at the CrepePro. Not only does it serve up delicious crepes in no time at all, but it also doubles as a pizza stone.

That means you can serve up hot and crispy, authentic pizzas, on your own your crepe pro inside your kitchen oven.

Are you ready to get grillin’? Let’s get started.

Step 1: First, you’re going to want to start by preheating your oven.

Light up your oven, then put your CrepePro on the grates. Lower the lid, then let it preheat for about half an hour.

Why do you want to do this? Preheating your CrepePro is going to give you that restaurant-style crisp crust that you crave.

Step 2: Keep an eye on the temperature.

The sweet spot is between 425-450 degrees Fahrenheit. Any lower and you might miss out on that crispness, and any higher and you’ll get burned cheese.

At this temperature, you’ll get the best of both worlds: a nice crisp crust and perfectly melted cheese.

Step 3: Prepare your pizza.

This includes bringing the dough to room temperature, then assembling your toppings. You’ll want to put a little bit of cornmeal on the bottom of your crust for both texture and ease of moving it around on the CrepePro.

Pro tip: You can build your pizza directly on your CrepePro. Just move quickly, as it’s already starting to cook.

It’s important to always use fresh ingredients (like cheese and other toppings) for the best flavor.

Step 5: Cook your pizza.

You wouldn’t want to make an entire pizza directly on the CrepePro instead, make it on some parchment paper and then use a pizza peel to transfer the pizza and parchment paper over the to CrepePro which is being heated in the oven.

Transfer your pizza to your CrepePro, then lower the lid. Resist the urge to peek at it while it cooks. You don’t want to lose heat, as this can affect the final product.

Let your pizza cook for 6-8 minutes, until the crust is done and the cheese is ooey-gooey delicious. Remove from heat, then let it cool for another 3-4 minutes.

Step 6: Dig in!

There you have it. This is the best way to prepare your pizza on the CrepePro. For more recipes and tips on how to use your CrepePro, please just check out our blog!
